The club gained W.R.U. Junior Union status in 1985 and past accolades include winning the Pembrokeshire junior section B league in 1990 and the Pembrokeshire junior union sevens title in 1989.

MINIS SECTION

Under 13's 1993Newport has a long and successful tradition with mini rugby. In fact, the club was founded from a small nucleus of mini rugby players. At the height of its popularity, the club was able to regularly put out five teams, with a core group of six qualified coaches teaching them the arts of mini rugby.
